Gemini Copy Co
She’d outgrown her solopreneur era. Here’s how I built the brand for her next phase.
Brand Style
Editorial, expert, warm, structured, sophisticated, timeless, playful
Meet Gemini
Gemini Copy Co. is a website copywriting studio founded by Jennifer Turner, a copywriter with a background in graphic design and UX.
Jen had already built a strong reputation and a fully booked referral-based business. But her brand wasn’t keeping pace with her expertise. She knew how she wanted to be perceived—warm, intelligent, artistic, strategic—but couldn’t quite translate that visually for herself.
In her words, she was simply “too close to it.”
She needed a brand that could bring more maturity, structure, and authority to Gemini without stripping away the wit and warmth that made it hers.
The Goal
Make Gemini feel less like a freelancer and more like the established studio Jen was building: expert, intentional, creatively distinct, and capable of supporting bigger clients, higher-value offers, and a more expansive business model. She wanted to be known not only for beautiful writing, but for the strategic thinking behind it—the way she listens, organizes complex ideas, and turns them into clear, resonant brand stories.
How the Moonstone Method™ got her there
-
Before we worked together, Jen couldn’t shake the feeling that something was missing from her soft, feminine brand. I took one look at her birth chart and saw exactly what it was: authority.
From there, the concept came together quickly: playful creative meets master strategist.
Her Capricorn Rising pointed us toward structure, credibility, and timeless craft, while Saturn in Sagittarius brought in warmth, storytelling, and a touch of the unexpected. The result was a visual direction that felt more grown-up and editorial without becoming cold or overly serious.

I’ve been known to say that your logo is the least interesting part of your brand. Colour, typography, photography, and layout usually do most of the storytelling. In Jen’s case, however, the multi-font wordmark is a star player.
The new logo features six unique letters, customized to reflect Gemini’s expressive personality and mastery of brand voices. The challenge was choosing the perfect letters to make sure the logo felt unexpected but still uniform. This concept could easily have drifted into ransom note territory if the execution wasn’t spot on. I played with dozens if not hundreds of letter combinations before landing on a custom combination that feels as sophisticated as it is fun.
To support the logo, I translated the tension in Jen’s chart into mixed-font headlines, a soft autumn colour palette, photo direction set in a historic hotel library, and layouts that pay homage to vintage newspaper design.

Rather than redesigning Jennifer’s website for her, I created the visual direction she needed to confidently lead the refresh herself in Showit.
A homepage mockup, brand guidelines, and 1:1 consulting helped her build a site that finally feel as premium and artistic as her writing.
-
To promote the new brand, I built out a full marketing kit including an Instagram 9-grid, custom notecards, and a Flodesk email template.

Since launching
“I’ve never felt more seen in my branding.”
“Before partnering with Miranda, I felt like something was off with my branding. I knew how I wanted to be perceived, but not how to express it visually. Well, I never could have envisioned what Miranda did. She translated my astrology into a creative direction and brand visuals that perfectly embody me and my brand. Miranda’s vision has opened my eyes to the possibilities not just for my brand, but for my business too. I’m thinking bigger now. And showing up in a way that aligns with my branding.”
